[A5] CONSONANCE: The Affable Wizard:
Card of Alchemy and Authority

Voice of logic, giver of law
Book of words inspire awe
Source of magic, alchemy, blending
Glue of marriage, union defending

An authoritative administrator is managing
An efficient assistant is agreeing

Description:
Looking not too unlike an alchemist, with beaker in hand, this man ministers over the two sides of the 1 through 9 progression that is the number line.

Numerous instances of such in between-ness are seen in the many examples of symmetry. Angel wings, book pages, elk antlers, and the windward vs. leeward sides of a mountain peak.

By carefully administering a mixture into the cup, he symbolizes controlled and orderly exchanges in the physical world. The angel of Temperance that emerges, symbolizes moderation between sides, and orderly exchanges in the non-physical world, peaceful unions and marriages. These two are the binding force in the marriage of their neighboring 4 and 6.

The bird eating out of the hand symbolizes this man’s ability to master and manage those around him. He is a regulator. He is a gatekeeper. He is the law. He commands respect. In no time, he will have you eating out of his hand. He promotes cooperation.
