100 Questions... er, answers - the results.

ANALYZE THE RESULTS:

First of all... it is OK if the results you get from The All Things Are Numbers Personality Type Indicator do not match the results you get from The Amazing Name Numerology Calculator. As stated in the instructions for the calculator, it is not the be-all, end-all authority of who you are, it's only supposed to describe the influence put upon you by your name. Other factors of influence could cause these numbers to not match. Honest and accurate awareness of yourself could be a factor, because you are picking answers subjectively. How well I've phrased each questions could also throw off how accurately you answered. Astrological influence could skew the results too (if you believe in that kind of thing). So the point is not to match the name numerology results, but only to suggest which of those numbers might be more dominant than others by seeing what results you get while taking this test today. This is a snapshot of who you are right now, today, as you take this test.

So what do we do with the results? If we look at the various categories of information that become filled in, as a result of taking the test, we can see that they are giving us the same information as another descriptive device that is offered on this site - a Quintagram! As described elsewhere on this site, a Quintagram uses fundamental directions of orientation to create an axial system of archetypal crysallograpny that allows us to calculate binary influence upon a human. Once calculated, we are lead to a card in The Numerical Tarot that is appropriate to that constellation of influence. Once there, we can read and learn more about what that influence is about and how we, as humans expressing ourselves, may or may not be expressing that influence in our lives - i.e. determine our personality.

To build a Quintagram, we draw a solid or open line, in much the same way as someone creating a Hexagram in I_Ching, to indicate which category of influence had the highest score in our results. Or, in true binary code fashion, we could write down a 1 or 0. In the chart below, light blue would create a solid line or a 1, and dark blue would create an open line or 0.

Code Orientation Binary Personality Matrix Aspect Orientation in Tarot Deck
[U] Up Solid-1 Investive Positive Productive Coins or Cups
[D] Down Open-0 Divestive Negative Reductive Staves or Swords
[L] Left Solid-1 Material Quantitative Physical Coins or Staves
[R] Right Open-0 Ethereal Qualitiative Mental Cups or Swords
[F] Front Solid-1 Provocative Impressive Suggestive 1, 2, 3, 4
[B] Back Open-0 Evocative Expressive Interpretive 6, 7, 8, 9
[ I ] In Solid-1 Attached Inclusive Integrated 3, 4 / 6, 7
[O] Out Open-0 Detached Exclusive Segregated 1, 2 / 8, 9
[Y ] On Solid-1 Active Excitive Decisive Even
[N] Off Open-0 Passive Inhibitive Suspensive Odd

The Personality Type Indicator does not include the last binary pair of [Y] On vs [N] Off. But that last catetory is displayed in another way by indicating the overall personality type. The results we get reveal us to be one of FIVE TYPES. Personality types that are associated with even numbers ( [P] and [V] ) are equivalent to [Y] On. Personality types that are associated with odd numbers ( [C] and [S] ) are equivalent to [N] Off. Personality types associatee with the number 5 are neutral.

Code Type Number Mental Self Code "Good" Tarot Tarot Code "Bad" Tarot Tarot
[C] Cerebral [1/9] Thought Mind [C] Clever Genius Sage [C] Confused Idiot Corpse
[P] Perceptual [2/8] Vision Spirit [P] Poetic Visionary Vivian [P] Prosaic Waif Sickling
[S] Sensorial [3/7] Feeling Soul [S] Sensitive Artist Virtuist [S] Severe Slob Sinner
[V] Visceral [4/6] Scent Heart [V] Valorous Valiant Royal [V] Vulnereable Victim Reject
[E] Elemental [5] Temper Crux [E] Eloquent Medium [E] Equivocal Misfit

Once we have totalled our results, we can put all the categories together to form a Quintagram. We can also take note of the single letter abbreviations given for each category and obtain a broad picture of who we are, using the abstract language given in each of the charts shown above. For example, following the single letter abbreviations for each category (the ones in [brackets]): One person might have come out to be a ULF-I-V. That would mean they are a:

[U] - Investive
[L] - Material
[F] - Provocative
[ I ] - Attached
[V] - Visceral, Valorous, Charasmatic type (a businessperson perhaps). If they had drawn solid or open lines, or 1s and 0s, they would have gotten 11111, which would have lead them to the 4 of Addition:Spring/Diamond/Coin, which includes concepts of business and construction.

If their results had been DRB-O-P, that would mean they are a:
[D] - Divestive
[R] - Ethereal
[B] - Evocative
[O] - Detached
[P] - Perceptual, Poetic, Enthusiastic type (an artist or poet perhaps). If they had drawn solid or open lines, or 1s and 0s, they would have gotten 00001, which would have lead them to the 8 of Division:Winter/Spade/Sword, which, if reversed, includes concepts of catharsis, abreaction and purging of poisons in the spirit.

Or, if their results ha been ULB-O-C, that would mean they are a:
[U] - Investive
[L] - Material
[B] - Evocative
[O] - Detached
[C] - Cerebral, Clever, Encyclopedic type (a mathemetician, or university professor perhaps). If they had drawn solid or open lines, or 1s and 0s, they would have gotten 11000, which would have lead them to the 9 of Addition:Spring/Diamond/Coin, which includes concepts of consummate intelligence, worldly order, and high intellectual achievement.

Or, maybe their results were DRB-O-C, that would mean they are a:
[D] - Divestive
[R] - Ethereal
[B] - Evocative
[O] - Detached
[C] - Cerebral, Clever, Encyclopedic type (a hermit). If they had drawn solid or open lines, or 1s and 0s, they would have gotten 00000, which would have lead them to the 9 of Division:Winter/Spade/Sword, which, if reversed includes concepts of subdued serenity, empty silence and being alone.

But things don't end there. Unlike some systems, this one encourages us to look at the second or even third most popular type in our results, and imagine how they might work together as a hybrid mixture of influence to determine who we are. A lot can be said about our dominant number, but just like The Amazing Name Numerology Calculator, we have two faces - the one we show and the one we hide. They mix and blend, they tug and pull. No one is ever just ONE type.

So to really understand what all these results mean, I suggest examining the rest of this site. Most of this site focuses on the design of a tarot deck, but ALL of it focuses on a theoretical model of existence that emanates from within every human taking this test. It would be a good idea to learn as much as possible about that model. I will try to add comments specific to personality as time permits. In the mean time, it's always good to combine The Amazing Name Numerology Calculator with the many keyword charts and interpretation pages, located elsewhere on this site, to interpret the results of these devices.

As already suggested, be sure and locate which tarot card somone is by combining the results of their [F] vs. [B], [L] vs. [R], and [U] vs. [D] answers. For example: if their dominant type was [S] [3/7] Sensorial, and they are a [D], [L], [F], that would equal 01110, so we would want to look at the 3 of Staves! We would want to look at card 3 and not 7, because 3 is on the [F] Front side of the number line. We would go to Staves because they are from the [L] Left analytical side of the Minors and because they are from the [D] Down, or negative side of the Minors (for a diagram that might assist in visualizing this process, consult the essay Numbers in Space). The essay Numbers in Space and the essay Shake the Trees! also have a lot more to say about how to find a personality in a deck of tarot cards!

Of course, in The Numerical Tarot, all the negative cards are illustrated in their worst possible light. So to examine the so-called "good" side of the negative cards, we need to read up on the concept of extreems and inbetweens elsewhere on this site. There we will see that the worst possible interpretation of a "bad" negative 3 would make someone clumsy, inept and grotesque, while the best possible interpretation of a "good" negative 3 would make someone earthy, organic and rough-hewn (i.e. someone who likes folk art more than fine art... or getting their hands dirty in the garden more than clean polished manicures, which would be a positive 3).

After figuring out which Minor Suit card someone is, try examining the Major Trump card that goes with it. Then read the interpretation pages for all. Try reading these interpretations first:

I'll try to add more later. In the mean time, to learn more about how to break down a number into multiple binary subdivisions of influence, try examining the Numbers In Space chart.
